Facilities containing vital systems or information are kept in
low profile buildings and locations to avoid undue interest or attention.
Examples include computer centers located in remote areas, indistinctive and
unmarked buildings used for backup storage, and block houses used for storing
high valued information.
Complexity: This is not an inherently complex thing to do, but in many
companies, computer rooms are showcases and this makes low profiles hard to
maintain.
